Taster Wines whistleblower policy
Whistleblower scheme
TW’s whistleblower scheme aims to increase the opportunities for TW’s employees to speak out about critical issues in the workplace without fear of negative consequences. The purpose of the whistleblower scheme is to ensure openness and transparency regarding any (legal) violations and serious irregularities.
TW’s whistleblower scheme should be seen as a supplement to direct and daily communication in the workplace about errors and unsatisfactory conditions, etc. The scheme also supplements existing options, such as approaching the immediate supervisor, the union representative, and the Cooperation Committee.
TW encourages the use of TW’s whistleblower scheme so that any violations can be quickly and effectively addressed internally. However, the whistleblower is free to choose between reporting to the workplace's whistleblower scheme or an external whistleblower scheme (Data Protection Agency).
TW’s whistleblower scheme does not exclude the possibility of reporting through external channels, such as regulatory authorities.
Whistleblower unit
The Whistleblower Unit serves as a confidential channel where employees can safely report any concerns about serious irregularities.
It is important to know that the Whistleblower Unit is designed to protect employees from retaliation. The unit will handle all reports objectively and fairly, and any confirmed irregularities will be dealt with appropriately.
